TV shows v/s Student life

Howdy everyone!

Today I’m going to talk TV shows. My favorite TV show is Steven Universe. Yes, I know it is a kid show but the characters are relative and their design are interesting, the animation is fantastic, the songs are very good and behind all the colors and cute characters, the show has a deep story. In the latter seasons it has a lot of tense moments. I mean, the show is about an ancient alien invasion and an alien civil war aftermath in the Earth, but the show is not as dramatic as it sounds because the main character, Steven, is a good-hearted person that tries to help everyone!

For me it is very difficult to watch a TV show because if I like the TV show I would want to know what happened at the end but the episodes normally are very long, so I would leave everything aside only to know the next events! For now, I prefer TV shows with 10-30 minutes episodes. About the genre I’m not very picky, it can be about a murder, a daily teenager’s life or about a crazy family! I don’t really care, I’m content if the TV show has an interesting story and characters.

I have a lot of series I really want to watch but the first places in my “TOP MUST WATCH” are Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and Orange Is the New Black. Everybody have recommended me these series, but I only can see this series in summer so I can watch it without worrying about my college work :^)!

Howdy Everyone!

I have always had a problem about “my favorites” because in the same category I might like different genres equally, it so frustating sometimes. But I can say “The Help” might be my favorite movie.

I think “The Help” has everything on it: drama, action, comedy, etc. And the most important thing is the movie handles a seriously issue about society very well: Racism. Let’s not forget the movie is played by a cast mainly of women (Almost all movies have a cast with a lot of male actors or a male character is the focus of the plot)

Usually I like a lot of movie genres but it depends of my mood, one day I would want to see a funny movie like The Hangover but another day I would love to watch a deep movie like Inception. But I think I can watch “The Help” any moment.

Well… The most recent movie I saw was “The Silence of the Lambs” and let me tell you, whoever who is reading this, IT. IS. AMAZING.!!! The movie is a really good thriller and the performances are splendid! I really was into the plot and I think Hannibal Lecter was a well written character. You should see it too! (I was very surprised when a friend told me “The Silence of the Lambs” won an oscar as the best movie, I mean, I haven’t seen a thriller movie win that award, until now)
